Desire for a cup, not the coffee

Once there was a get-together of students and their professors. Everyone one were telling about their stressful life, workload, job. The professor who was listening to it went to kitchen and brought a large pot of coffee and varieties of cups like plain, glass, plastic and some expensive ones. Everyone told to help themselves to the coffee.

After all students had a cup of coffee in their hands, the professor said: " If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups have been taken up, only the plain and cheap are left behind. It is very normal that we all want only the best for ourselves, but it is also the source of problems and stress.
Our Life is like a coffee and Luxuries are the cups. The type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live.

" The cup itself adds no quality to the coffee."

What we really want is coffee, not the cup, but we unconsciously running for the best cups. And also eyeing each other's .

We all are focusing outside, in impressing others, competing others, which in turn making our life anxious, nerve-racking. We are exhausting in satiation of materialistic or secondary things.
It seems that we all are running a marathon of quenchless desires.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee. Quality of coffee is becoming less concerned.

"Stop getting distracted by things and FOCUS on your inner being."

You cannot find peace by avoiding life. All stress, anxiety, depression, is caused when we ignore who we are, and start living to please eyes.
Pay More attention to the life.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's around you is perfect. It means you have decided to see beyond the imperfections and find peace. And the peace lies within you, not in career, jobs or the houses you have.Choose wisely what you want from life.

Savor the coffee, not the cups!

Stay BlessedπŸ’œπŸ’œ
